Exporting and managing your data

Applies to: Paid VoteAmerica Plus customers

Summary

VoteAmerica Plus paid accounts include full data exports for all voter actions completed through your tools and easy links.

All accounts can view topline counts, but only paid plans include individual-level data.

How to export your data

  1. Log in to your VoteAmerica Plus customer portal.
  2. Click Export data from the Tools section in the navigation bar.
  3. Choose the tool you want to export.
  4. Choose the timeframe you want to include
  5. Click Generate Report.

The file includes voter contact information (if available), the tool used, and timestamps for completed actions.

Troubleshooting export counts

If numbers in your export differ from dashboard totals, check these factors:

  • Account type: Data is exportable only while your account is on a paid plan.
  • Duplicate users: Some voters use multiple tools or take multiple actions.
  • Timing: Exports update hourly; wait an hour after new actions.

To compare metrics accurately, filter exports by date range and tool type.
